Greater Heights Tree And Land Management Inc is owned and operated by Michael D'Agata and David Dence. Both are Paul Smith graduates. David Dence holds an A.S. in Forest Technology and an A.S. in Urban Tree Management. He is a member of the International Society of Arboriculture, an ISA-certified arborist, and a Game of Logging-certified, level 1,2,3,4, with a major in Tree and Land Management. David previously taught the forestry and heavy equipment courses at the Southwest Vermont Career Development Center in Bennington. David also operates his own sugar bush in southern Vermont.

Michael D'Agata holds an A.S. in Forest Technology and A.S. in Urban Tree Management. He is a member of the International Society of Arboriculture, an ISA-trained arborist, a certified crane operator, and also holds an EHAP certification. Additionally, Michael owns and operates a successful Christmas tree farm in Berlin, NY. Greater Heights Tree And Land Management Inc was started in 2003 and has since grown from a staff of two to a staff of ten. We service all of southern Vermont, western Massachusetts, and eastern New York, to an approximate 50-mile to 100-mile radius of Bennington, VT, our current base of operations.

Our tree care crew is comprised of certified crane operators, certified climbers, and OSHA and EHAP-trained tree care experts. Most of our crew is CDL licensed. As a member of TCIA, we engage heavily in professional development opportunities, CPE credits, and weekly safety meetings. We review jobs daily to ensure the safety of not only our crew but the site and any unknowns. Our crew tenure ranges from 4 years to 16 years. Our safety record is impeccable. Our approach has always been safety first. We have a clean loss run going back 7 to 10 years. We have no cited violations from any entity. Because of the special nature of the services we provide, we don't subcontract our work. We are fully insured.
